It sure seems like it would be much easier to just represent the peoples views rather than all this fighting back and forth our congress is doing. Not just over the health care bill, but all of the government business being carried on each and every day.
When you tell me how you feel about different issues, voting would be very easy. I wouldn’t need to go for a jet ride with the president, or have a brother appointed as judge to know how the people I represent want me to vote. Also, congress should eat pork, not add it underhandedly to bills to hide it from the people.
Just vote the way your constituents tell you to vote… now what’s wrong with that? That seems mighty easy to me!
The amount of times I’ve been asked to donate money for different groups, and associations to fight our government is continuously increasing.
I’m sick and tired of donating to groups that want to fight our government! We should not have to fight our government! We should not have to fight for jobs! What does that mean anyway?….fight for jobs…who are you going to fight?
I really believe we need to fix our House & Senate before we can get started in the right direction. I will do that.
Democrats…Republicans & all the many other Parties are being pushed by a small group of people that want to have there own views heard. They want to move everything in their own direction…. How’s that working for us? I will change that! You want change? The only change that will work is to change to a people run government, and that’s the way it was always intended to be anyway.
I know a lot of you have just voted party lines and I’m asking you now to stop doing the same thing congress is doing. It’s just not working for us, and it’s not working for congress. I can change that by voting and introducing bills backed by the people and not by the parties.
This is very important! Please think about what I want to do for the people of Ohio. I’ve been running a small business, (a machine shop) for 29 years. We have 16 employees working full time with full benefits paid by the company. Yes, it’s hard to manage with all the governments’ ridiculous mandates, and continuous increases in costs, but if it were easy everyone would be doing it.
I’m asking for your help in promoting my campaign so I can be elected as your senator and use the skills I’ve learned by working all my life to get government into the hands of the people. So what if we screw up once in a while? At least we can say we did it together… for a real change. And besides, how could it be any worse than what’s going on now!
I know it is outrageous for me to ask all the parties to join me as your independent choice to be your next US Senator from Ohio. I’m asking you to trust yourself to make government decisions. Yes, we need to fix government, and No, it can not happen with party candidates.
To prove that…please ask yourself how long you have been voting for party candidates. Now, overall, can you say we’ve gone in the right direction during your lifetime?
You know the saying…if you want something done right you have to do it yourself. Come on, we’ve all said that a time or two. So let’s do it ourselves. For the first time in our life…Let’s do it ourselves so it can be done right.
We may make a few mistakes, but overall, I’m betting we will get better at it, and enjoy our lives better than we ever have. We will do the right thing for our country, our state, our old people, our children, and of course ourselves.
You’ve got some time to think about this before November when I will be asking for your vote, because I’m not asking you for your money like the party candidates.
