Hi Folks,

Through the next nine months or so, I will be trying to convince you to support me as your candidate for United States Senate.  I Suspect there will be others trying to do the same thing.  We will all be telling you how well you will be represented in Washington, and other things that we may think will win your votes.

This year, I would like you to consider using a different way to pick your candidate.  I know that some of you vote for a Democratic candidate because you feel its party represents you better than the Republican Party.  Voting Republican for the same reason has worked well for others.  How's that working for you now?

To vote independent means to loose your vote.  Right?  Not this year because if I can convince enough people that my only goal is to finally do what's right for the people of Ohio, we can not only win, we can win big.  This will be the election you will have a really good choice for a real change.

I'm not going to waste my time on slamming the other candidates because, making them appear bad, will not make me a better candidate.  I will say that a major party vote has not been working for us.

So for now, I would just like you to think about how well your party has been doing for you and consider another option.  I hope that you will see that I'm that option.  I am going to work hard to convince you of that by November.

Okay, enough about me for now.  How are you doing?  Let me know.

Here is what I'm thinking.  I believe if we haven't hit bottom with the economy, we are very close.  I also believe we are going to all pull up our patriotic boot straps and start working harder to defend our Constitution, and Bill of Rights.  By doing this, we will start to regain the respect from other countries, and regaining our pride in our own country.  Our leaders are not trying to promote patriotism for our country.  Until our leaders are feeling the support of the people; the great feeling of being a leader must be small.

The leaders of this country are trying to get their power from Washington instead of from the people.  How’s that working for them?

Please think about this.  If I would take my one vote to Washington with the biggest part of 12 million people from Ohio supporting it...how big of a vote would that be, for a change?  That’s what I’m talking about!

Talk to you soon,

Dave
